Hi everyone! Welcome to Tuesday Tales! We are back with Ezekiel Hallow in Featherweight (Hallow Brothers 6). This week’s word prompt is “laughter”. **Warning - There is adult situations and adult language.** Don’t forget to check out the other awesome Tuesday Tales! Click here to take a look! He pulled into his spot and killed the engine, the trees around him were blanketed with the black of night. The bright glow of campfires peppered the landscape. Children’s laughter floated through the closed window as sleep pulled Ezekiel under.
He nearly jumped out of his skin at the hand slamming into his driver side window over and over. He pried open an eye then turned his head to find the source of the commotion. Dakota stood on the other side, staring at him. Why was it when he saw her, or even thought about her, he got hard as a rock? “What the…” he protested. “I need your help,” she replied. “What?” He voice slurred, still heavy with sleep. “Oh, for the love of fuck, wake up.” She strode around the nose of the truck and popped open the passenger. She climbed inside then stared at him. “What are you doing?” Ezekiel demanded. “Do I need to drive?” Dakota countered. “How’d you get here?” “I rode my bike. I hid it. We can come back and get it later. So let me ask again. Do I need to drive?” “No,” Ezekiel grumbled as he flipped the key in the ignition. The truck started with a rumble. He flipped on the headlights then carefully pulled out of the spot. There wasn’t much conversation other than the occasional direction. Ezekiel kept his concentration on the road ahead but it didn’t stop his erection from growing harder by the second. His brothers weren’t kidding. This mating thing was hell on a werewolf. He took a second to glance at Dakota. She stared out the passenger side window but she was visibly squirming in her seat. He smiled a bit. Maybe she was going through the same torture. Some little part of him hoped so. Misery loved company after all. “Stop here,” she ordered. Ezekiel scowled but did as he was told as he turned into the drive of a modest single story house. It was by itself on the side of the highway with not a neighbor in sight. No lights were on to indicate a sign of life. He followed her lead as she hopped out of the cab and stormed to the front door. She didn’t knock or anything. She barged right in. “What the…” Ezekiel hurried in right after her. Someone had to stop this crazy bitch. Just inside the threshold he froze in place. He had good news for his brothers. He found the one thing that could smother the mating lust in the matter of seconds as he stared at the bloody dead bodies lying on the floor.

OMG! I wasn't expecting that either. In fact, when she had him stop the car, I thought there was something else, far more salacious, on her mind than dead bodies! You got me. Now I need to know who they are and what they are doing there.

I so much enjoy his reaction to her. What a surprise at the end! Your featured line is also fantastic.
