Hi everyone! Welcome to Tuesday Tales! This week’s word prompt is "road". We are with Hades and Persephone in the fourth book in the Gods of DC series, Death Do Us Part. Don’t forget to check out the other awesome Tuesday Tales! Click here to take a look! Hades stood then picked up up the plate he had set on the end table beside him. “It’s getting late. We should get back.”
Demeter responded with a lion sized yawn. He couldn’t tell if it was real or faked. “Of course. Please let me know if you’d like me to make up a lunch for you.” “Of course.” The other three rose for hugs and good night pecks on the cheek. Hades led Persephone through the kitchen and out the back door. The fire pit and torches were still blazing as the wove their way through the patio towards the barn. He was grateful for the extra light. It had been a long time since he had been in a place so remote this late at night. Persephone squeezed his hand as they walked. “We didn’t have to go.” Hades stopped and gazed at her. “Freddy didn’t know about our problem, love. He wouldn’t have said anything if he did.” She gave him a slight smile. “I know he didn’t.” He stared at her as the night creatures around them chirped out a symphony just for them. He pulled her into his arms and parted her lips with a kiss he could feel in his soul. It was followed by another. They didn’t break apart until her body curved against his. “Maybe we should get back to the cabin?” Persephone suggested, her voice a warm purr that alone made his cock hard. “Maybe we should take a midnight stroll down by the creek like we always talked about?” “What if Mom and Freddy come out here?” “It sounds like they prefer the barn. And I noticed Dottie’s truck was gone. I’m certain we will be all alone out here.”

Great use of the word prompt in this steamy scene. Hmm, can we follow them down to the water?

This is an endearing scene, and with all interactions, especially those containing multiple couples, we learn a little more about their interpersonal dynamics. I adore this series. Searing image: parted her lips with a kiss he could feel in his soul.

I love writing the relationships as they interact with the other couples. They are one big, dysfunctional family! Thanks!
